1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar free syrup -- Torani or Davinci, Vanilla flavored works good.
1/4 cup water -- plus 1 tablespoon
1 cup flax meal, Golden flaxmeal is the best
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 medium onion -- minced
1 teaspoon rosemary -- crushed with your fingers
In a medium bowl, beat the eggs with wire whisk, beat in oil, syrup, and water.
stiry fry the minced onions until just cooked. add to the mixture. In a small bowl, combine the remaining dry ingredients, then stir into egg mixture.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Plop 1/3 cup of batter onto greased cookie sheet. Should have 5 of them.
Bake in 350 degrees F. oven, 22 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Cut each bun in half with a knife and use for sandwiches or hamburgers.
